The work was included in the group show Leaf at Plot in spring 2026. 

Here for now is based on a song I wrote in 2023. While ostensibly telling the story of a country outing, it also touches upon apocalyptic motives, present in both christian and some climate-political narratives. The text consists of two parts mirroring each other. I tried to find antonyms for each corresponding phrase, with varying degrees of success. Sometimes this resulted in direct semantic inversions, other times I took a more associative approach. Here for now resembles a storyboard for a non-existent music video. The drawings play with the song text, follow it closely, break away from it, weave around it.
